In 2014 a violent storm destroyed a wing of the primary school in Magubike, a village in the Iringa region of Tanzania. Emanuela Paiero and her friend Emanuela Falcomer founded an association to finance the reconstruction of this school.
The work to build the new wing involved dialogue with the community and local construction companies that received funding thanks to the charity work of the two founders.
The structure includes some elementary classes for students from the nearest villages and preserves East African architectural typologies. The work on site revolved around dialogue with the population and local authorities, site surveys and the financial management of the work.
